Hello and welcome to my blog!
My name is Amanda Tate and I'm a first year masters student at UNT-HSC. I love science, and I'm still in shock that I'm finally on this journey of getting a graduate degree. As a non-traditional, first-generation college student, my path to higher education has definitely had its share of challenges.
I hope my blog can help motivate anyone who finds themselves wanting to pursue STEM, but feel held back by their unique life path and self-perceived short comings.
